Nams was established in 1999 in order to supply food & beverage items to the Maldivian national airline, Air Maldives. Following the bankruptcy of the Maldivian national airline, Nams has decided to switch their business to the hospitality industry. The reasons behind the decision were the experience and the involvement of one of the directors in the hospitality industry. Later 2002, Nams became a passenger sales agent of Island Aviation ,the Maldivian national carrier.

Company Profile

Nams Private Limited (Nams, for brevity) is a pioneer in supplying and serving the hospitality industry in the Maldives. Since 1999, it has been providing a high quality service for resorts and other organisations who adopt a decentralised system of management in which different tasks are contracted out to specialists. In the past few years, we have served our customers with a wide range of products and services at the most competitive prices.

Nams is currently engaged in supplying food & beverage, hardware and electrical items to Resorts, Yachts and Passenger liners. We do provide administrative consultancy in the Maldives. Nams has a strategy to expand its business into other sectors. We are currently planning to handle aircrafts both inbound and outbound, yachts and passenger liners.

Nams' directors have experience in different industries, such as hospitality, aviation and shipping  of more than fifteen years. The executives of Nams are practically engaged in the day-to-day operation of the company, and, interestingly,  they are specialised in their fields of activity.

Nams carries out an on-job training scheme in which the staff, who join the organisation afresh, receive necessary instructions and training on a daily basis, and acquire a set of values peculiar to Nams, if you like, which goes into making Nams' own culture and work environment of friendliness.
